When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

I've been meaning to make this for a very long time, but ever time I attempted it I hated it so much I just scrapped the whole thing. I've finally produced a version I like enough upload. lol.
This is a gift for a friend named Ellie. This is her character Ithildin. He was born to the race of Winged Horses (pegasi) in the skies. Some defect by birth rendered him wingless. The kindness of the king let him lead a life that bore some semblance of normalcy, but it was not enough. Ithildin elected to come down to the ground and live among those who were also flightless. But in Elysium, some of the groundlings also have wings. So Ithildin doesn't really belong anywhere. Not on the ground, and not in the sky. He is a wonderfully complicated character with a beautifully tragic history, and he's one of my favorites on the site. Ellie is a marvelous writer and she's made him into one of the most interesting characters of the site. And some of us are hoping he'll hook up with another of the most interesting characters, *crosses fingers* lol. Anyway, enjoy! "None of the boys in town your type, eh?" Charlie asked.
"No, none of the boys have caught my eye yet."

Why when people ask you "what three things would you bring with you on a desert island?" no one ever replies, "A BOAT"

Anywayy, back to the manip. The tones are wonderful and you've blended the background really well. The smudging looks superb and the wings in the uh.. not reflection? haha they look REALLY cool. Fabulous job on this.. I'm jealous!
